Intelligences@Play is a uniquely crafted curriculum in Bibinogs that is largely inspired by the Multiple Intelligences Theory developed by Howard Gardner. PhD (Harvard Graduate School of Education). The Multiple Intelligences theory acknowledges that all people have a unique set of talents and abilities that form different types of competencies used to solve various kinds of problems.
As such, 8 Intelligences are identified as the basis of each problem solving skill: Linguistic, Music, Logic, Body, Spatial, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal and Natural. During each of our Intelligences@Play classes, we adopt multiple approaches to each topic or theme, whereby children are presented with materials and programmes of numerous varieties. We use several ‘touch point’ activities that revolve around one or more of these intelligences, so that each child can learn from the different touch point activities during each interaction.
